Shireen is a well-regarded advocate with 35 years of hands on experience having varied litigation practice, corporate and real estate transactions as also a wide range of commercial and corporate documentation, from 1st April 2010 shes the Managing Partner of Vakils Associated.
Shireen  has  valuable  experience  in  general  litigation  with  special emphasis on civil and commercial litigation, corporate and consumer matters. Her practice includes litigation before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of Delhi & Andhra Pradesh, National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, State and District Consumer Forums all over India, with special focus on Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi, Civil Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Sales Tax Tribunal, Company Law Board and MRTP Commission. She also has vast experience in social legislation issues for NGO’s, welfare bodies including animal welfare groups, Government agencies and corporate.

Her corporate commercial work includes general advisory practice, conveyancing, commercial documentation, infrastructure documentation  including  public  private  partnership  arrangements, corporate transactions, mergers and amalgamation, structuring entry strategies,  establishment  of  Liaison  Office  and  closure  of  Branch office,  incorporation  of  companies,  franchising   documentation, testamentary and succession matters, arbitration, labour and legal audits and due diligence, financial structuring for real estate, title searches and drafting of development and collaboration agreements, advises on in-bound and out-bound investments, advice on foreign exchange law, and general advisory work for companies.

Shireen started her career as an Associate with the leading law firm, M/s J.B.Dadachanji & Co., New Delhi where she practiced from 1987
to 1992. Thereafter, she practiced with New Delhi Law Offices, New Delhi from 1992 to 1997.  Upon  relocating  to  Hyderabad,  she established New Delhi Law Offices Hyderabad at Secunderabad, as Managing  Partner  which  she  managed  from  January 1999  to 2004. She thereafter merged the practice at Hyderabad with the firm of Udwadia & Udeshi, Mumbai and was a partner in the Mumbai Firm as also the partner in charge of Udwadia Udeshi & Co. at Hyderabad from January 2005 to March 2010.
