Chandralekha started her legal career as an Associate Manager at Vedanta Ltd, Goa. In her role with the Company, she handled Litigation Support, Strategy & Management for Vedanta Ltd in regard to the litigation before High Court of Goa and National Green Tribunal, Pune. She was involved in briefing of Senior Counsels and drafting various Writ Petitions for the Company. She was also involved in review and management of compliance and regulatory framework for the Company. She is experienced in drafting and vetting Service and Sales Agreements, has hands on experience in policy advisory and representation before various statutory authorities like Ministry of Shipping, Tariff Authority for Major Ports, Port Trusts and Ministry of Mines.

Chandralekha has also been a Young Leader’s for Active Citizenship Fellow, and assisted the office of Mr. Rajeev Gowda, M.P. in preparing a policy brief for developing a regulatory framework for Audio Visual OTT Platforms in India.

Chandralekha joined Vakils Associated as an Associate in April 2021 and has been focusing on labour law litigation, employment & Provident Fund Act matters, drafting of opinions, appearances before the Labour Court & Industrial Tribunal, Hyderabad. She also focuses on providing due diligence and audit services for comprehensive regulatory compliance of various corporate clients of the Firm. She has also been involved in drafting contracts and policies for companies in various sectors.
